This cube contains only data on different-sex marriages and the corresponding nuptiality indicators. The marital status 'unmarried' is the result of a declaration of invalidity of a previous union or a declaration of disappearance of the previous partner. Historical data taken from the publication « Historical Statistics of Switzerland » (Chronos, 1996) and the annual publications on Vital statistics (in French: « Mouvement de la Population de la Suisse »).
